With St George’s Day hot on the horizon, we thought what better way to celebrate our patron saint than by exploring the UK on a spring break? As the weather is beginning to warm up and the nights are starting to get lighter, it’s therefore a perfect time to see what beautiful locations the UK has to offer.

The Beach Spring Break

Visit a UK beach this spring

Discover Britain’s best beaches.

Spring is a great time to enjoy some of Britain’s best beaches, especially before they become overcrowded in summer. Watergate Bay beach in North Cornwall is a fun activity beach. As a result it is ideal for anyone who is keen to try out something energetic and exciting. Porthcurno beach in South Cornwall has beautiful scenery, and is also famous for being Cornwall’s most photographed beach.

You may also want to head for North Devon’s Saunton Sands and enjoy the three miles of soft sandy beach. South Devon has Salcombe beach to offer, while providing a quick boat ride across the water to Mill Bay where you can enjoy the prettiest rock pools. Furthermore, if you want to visit Wales, Pembrokshire beach is a must-see. Take a walk along its 186 mile coast path for a scenic view…

If Scotland is your desired getaway destination, take the road to the Isles from Fort William. There you can discover endless beaches and rocky coves.

The City Spring Break

Discover the British capital

Enjoy a city break in London.

If beaches aren’t your thing, maybe a city break could suit you better. London has plenty to offer, alongside Edinburgh. With our tour of the South of England, you could combine a visit to London and a trip to Brighton along the way. Perhaps you’d rather explore Liverpool and enjoy the story of The Beatle’s. Or York, or maybe Bath………The UK has plenty to offer.

The Scenic Spring Break

Explore the Cotswolds

Delve into the charm of the Cotswolds.

If you love English charm, the Cotswolds’ honey coloured houses and rolling hills may tempt you, or Devon’s craggy coves and cream teas. And, if you love British scenery, you must discover the Lake District. For a more relaxed break, maybe a visit to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside could be your ideal Spring break.
